Church Mission Society (CMS) is a Christian mission organization that works globally to spread the message of Jesus, support local churches, and engage in social justice initiatives. Founded in 1799, CMS has a long history of sending missionaries and supporting mission projects worldwide.
CMS seeks to bring hope and transformation by empowering people to share the gospel and address issues such as poverty, injustice, and conflict. The organization works in partnership with local churches and communities rather than imposing external solutions.
CMS continues to adapt to modern challenges while maintaining its commitment to mission work. The organization emphasizes cross-cultural collaboration and encourages laypeople, clergy, and professionals to participate in God’s mission, whether locally or abroad.
