Job Description: Performs advisory and implementation services to address Human Capital Management (Human Resource and Payroll), and other business needs throughout the enterprise by leveraging the HCM suite of Oracle products. Responsible for leading the implementation of the solution to client’s requirements and in line with delivery plan and agreed budget, promoting a strong working relationship and team spirit with the Grant Thornton programme team. Additionally, the role will include provision of thought leadership around relevant Oracle technology and suite of applications, as well as assistance in business development and practice development for the Enterprise Applications Strategy practice. A look into the role As a Enterprise Applications HCM Architect within our team practice, you will: Own and manage the solution from the initial conception through to testing and design freeze Responsible for documenting business requirements, system designs and transformational goals to achieve our client’s objectives Responsible for documenting and maintaining integration designs and extensions Support the Delivery Director and the Project Manager in managing scope, plans and budget Manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, and training Identify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability of information architecture Build and maintain close relationships with client senior executives Provide leadership and insight for client account development opportunities Take a lead role in creating go-to market propositions, proposals, budgets, and work plans Work closely with Oracle SMEs and the designated Alliance Manager in marketing and business development activities as appropriate Take personal responsibility for managing workload to meet own utilisation targets Knowing you’re right for us Joining us as a HCM Architect, the minimum criteria you’ll need is experience in Oracle HCM (HR and Payroll) Cloud design, configuration and implementation. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way. Extensive years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing multiple industry clients Extensive experience in Oracle HCM (HR and Payroll) Cloud design, configuration and implementation Experience Oracle E-Business Suite HR and Payroll design, configuration and implementation Evidence of appropriate Oracle vendor formal training and skills development (other vendor training experience and knowledge would be a benefit) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of software development lifecycles, key metrics and reports Some experience in migrations/deployments of Enterprise Application solutions to the cloud Experience with Enterprise Application Integration and back-end data connectivity applications Experience installing/configuring/implementing Oracle Applications Proven ability delivering complex and time sensitive projects Strong leadership skills; able to conduct meetings and write technically orientated documents Ability to develop and maintain architecture roadmaps to senior stakeholders’ requirements adhering to the enterprise strategy and reference models Able to work with clients to understand current state processes and define future state processes based on business objectives Oracle certification and accreditation in HCM A professional architecture qualification (such as TOGAF) is highly beneficial but not essential A professional qualification (such as in accounting or HR) is beneficial but not essential Knowing we’re right for you Embracing uniqueness, the culture at Grant Thornton thrives on the contributions of all our people, we never settle for what is easy, we look beyond to deliver the right thing, for everyone.
