Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Nightshift)
Responsibilities:
1. Implementation of relevant sections of BRC & Customer food quality standards to ensure all procedures are documented in line with standards and are audited regularly to ensure compliance.
2. Ensure all equipment is maintained to a safe standard and complies with current legislation.
3. Development and implementation of structured site preventative maintenance system for both mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
4. Maintain and update digital maintenance records on a computerised Maintenance Management System.
5. Respond to Electrical and Mechanical planned & unplanned activities in a prompt manner.
6. Support the development of the systems and procedures within the department to create a 'Lean' working environment.
The Person:
1. Have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
2. Have the ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision and work as part of a team.
3. Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
4. Strong level of all-round Electrical Engineering knowledge, with at least 3 years' experience gained within a Manufacturing environment.
5. The ability to interpret Electrical and Mechanical engineering drawings.
