Installer Business Development Manager (Renewable Energy Sector Installers)
Location: This role requires frequent travel across the UK and regular visits to our Head Office in Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 9HX. Ideal candidates would be based in areas such as Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Oxford, etc.
Schedule: Usual working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (with flexibility for out of hours cover for industry events and overnight stays).
Salary: £30k - £40k pa DOE + commission structure and company vehicle.
Driving Licence: A full valid driving licence is required, and a company vehicle will be provided for the role.
Experience Level: A good level of experience in a similar position is required. Knowledge of the renewable energy industry and selling to contractors and installers would be preferable.

What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Generating leads and expanding our installer network.
2. Defining and strategising market territories for maximum impact.
3. Turning opportunities into meaningful business growth.
4. Engaging in productive client meetings, showcasing our renewable solutions.
5. Collaborating with estimating teams to provide accurate quotes.
6. Following up diligently on leads and opportunities.
7. Closing new business deals, driving revenue growth.
8. Working in collaboration with our distribution partners to ensure our products are the favoured solution for installers.
9. Fostering strong and lasting client relationships through consistent communication.
10. Providing regular updates and reports to the UK Sales and Marketing Director, keeping everyone informed of progress and challenges.
11. Being a brand ambassador at various industry shows, fairs, and events.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Strong communication skills.
2. Solid understanding of installation of energy storage systems would be advantageous.
3. Proven experience in sales within the renewable industry or related field.
4. Expertise in managing the complete sales cycle with a track record of consistent activity.
5. Proficiency in IT tools and the ability to adapt to new software and systems.
6. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of your work.
7. Willingness to go above and beyond regular duties, contributing to various tasks to support the team's success.
