Job Title: Receptionist (Front Of House Role)
Reports to: Account Manager
Location: BAE Systems, Filton, Bristol
Role: Permanent
Working Hours: 15 hours per week
Salary: Annual £10,062 - £10,350
(We are above RLW provider)
15 Hours Per Week Between The Following Hours:
Wednesday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00, 30 minutes unpaid leave
(This is part of a Job share between two part time roles to cover Reception operating hours. Cover will be required from Monday - Thursday 08:00 – 16:00 to support annual leave and sickness.)
Full Training and uniform provided
SIA License required (Cost to be covered if individual doesn't currently hold one)
Must have a UK passport due to security clearance required for site.
Individual must be able to pass a clean DBS and SC security clearance
Shift patterns are subject to availability and will be decided upon business needs
Standards
As a Corporate Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for our organisation, providing exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees. Your role is crucial in creating a positive and professional impression of our company. In addition to delivering outstanding customer service, you will maintain high levels of security awareness and adhere to uniform standards to ensure a safe and consistent environment.
Profile
As a member of the Front of House team, our clients, guests and team expect an individual whose appearance and demeanour reflect the high standards of Signature. Attitude should be one of confidence and professionalism, whilst recognising that guest satisfaction through team member services and performance is what is required to create an authentic experience.
Receptionist Duties
1. To provide the highest levels of customer care and service to all clients, partners and all employees in line with agreed service level agreements and procedures.
2. To provide a warm courteous and prompt welcome on arrival for all visitors at the reception desk.
3. To handle all incoming telephone calls/enquiries promptly giving a warm, courteous welcome and using the agreed salutation.
4. To provide assistance for meeting room bookings as required and to liaise with relevant parties to ensure the delivery of a professional service.
5. To liaise and communicate with other team members and other service departments in a clear and timely manner ensuring service delivery and teamwork.
6. To carry out regular checks of the meeting rooms on site to ensure correct set up and readiness for client use, including rearranging furniture and room layouts as required.
7. To report any maintenance issues requiring attention in the reception and client suite areas.
8. To maintain an organized and tidy work area — this is to include the front desk, seating area, meeting rooms.
9. To anticipate client needs, follow up with requests and ensure the client expectations are not only met but exceeded.
10. To ensure that visitor and client arrivals are communicated to the relevant people promptly and that the visitor is either met or escorted to the relevant room in a timely fashion.
11. To ensure that waiting visitors are kept informed of any delays and to ensure client comfort.
12. To replenish meeting rooms, as required, with pads, pens and pencils.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience as a corporate FOH receptionist is preferable.
2. Previous experience of working in a professional/corporate environment is essential.
3. Strong customer focus.
4. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is essential.
6. Computer literacy skills — Basic Excel, Word and Outlook.
