The Working Patterns Are:
1. For Red Lodge: every Mon/Tue/Sat/Sun 10:30-16:30
2. For Blaise House: every Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun 10:30-16:30
This will include an additional 8 hours per month to be worked flexibly.
Bristol Culture and Creative Industries delivers city wide festivals, events, exhibitions and world class museums; be a part of the city’s dynamic, vibrant and forward thinking team. We are looking for Visitor Experience and Operations Site Supervisors for our Historic Houses the Red Lodge Museum and Blaise House Museum.
We are looking for individuals who will deliver an outstanding service. You will have the passion and drive to define and deliver our commitment to customer care. You will ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors, buildings and museum artefacts.
This is a public facing job working with our visitors to ensure they have an engaging and memorable visit at our museums.
Our roles include working across all our sites Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, M Shed Museum, Blaise Castle House Museum, The Georgian House Museum and the Red Lodge Museum as required.
The role may include manual tasks and you will be expected to undertake relevant training to support your role. Training may take place outside of contracted hours, all training is paid.

For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.
If you are currently a casual worker or a member of an employment agency (currently working with Bristol City Council) this post will be a fixed term contract.
