If so, read on Role Purpose The sponsorship sales manager is responsible for building and selling value propositions to meet client needs. This involves working with the sponsorship content team and operations team to meet the team target of which an individual target will be assigned to you. The role reports into the Head of Sponsorship Sales. Main Responsibilities Your portfolio will include a diverse set of customers in key Wood Mackenzie markets. The portfolio of events currently includes 4 commercial events which run globally throughout the year. Currently these events are mid-sized events with circa 300 to 400 attendees over 1 or 2 days depending on the event. There are also podcast sponsorship opportunities around our market leading podcasts “Energy Gang” and “Interchange Recharged”. Specific responsibilities include: Achieve and exceed individual monthly team & individual sales targets, as agreed with the Head of Sponsorship Sales. Develop and implement strategies to increase market share. Develop and execute strategies for generating leads, including networking, referrals, and online marketing. Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients. Meet an agreed target of sales meetings and calls per day to ensure consistent engagement with potential and existing clients. Develop an understanding of market trends and clients’ strategic needs to ensure we deliver value for clients Be part of a high performing, engaged sales team that meets sales targets. There will be a team target of which you will have your own individual sales target. However, there is the expectation that we support each other as a team, and we share market intelligence and work collaboratively. Build the client pipeline, forecast accurately and to grow the client base in line with the agreed sales strategy Collaborate with different internal teams in order to achieve commercial success Nurture existing client relationships and develop new business relationships (deep and wide) to exceed budget within a territory. Oversee a smooth and seamless delivery of sponsorship contracts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records in the CRM system for your accounts. Provide timely updates both ad-hoc and during weekly sales meetings to track progress and share insights. Collaborate with entire sponsorship content and events teams – acting as the voice of the customer - to develop new products and improve existing products. Act as a Wood Mackenzie ambassador at key industry events and through proactive outreach to further penetrate and grow account base. About You Essential 3-5 years experience of B2B Sponsorship Sales Have a track record of driving revenue growth, exceeding targets and acquiring new clients. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, along with proficiency in negotiating contracts. Desirable Experience working in an international environment covering different global markets Be passionate about growing the business and have a genuine interest in developing and growing themselves Have an intellectual curiosity and an interest in the energy transition Show effective organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage own workload effectively Be familiar with CRM systems for tracking sales activities and managing client data.
