Lecturer in Environmental Science
Pro rata of £26,189 - £40,839 per annum (i.e. £13,094.50 - £20,419.50)
18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Do you have a passion for teaching as well as an imaginative and creative approach in the classroom?
As a Lecturer in Environmental Science you will have a focus on student learning and be able to deliver engaging and inspiring teaching, learning and assessment using up to date resources and have an ability to adapt teaching styles for the learners on this course.
The STEM department are keen to recruit a highly effective and innovative Lecturer who can deliver on a range of Environmental Science programmes at level 3, including supporting the development and delivery of our new Access and A Level Environmental Science programmes.
We welcome applications from qualified individuals and from candidates who are new to teaching and have relevant and applicable subject or industry experience in not just environmental science, but also biology and/or chemistry.

There may be opportunity for further teaching hours for the right candidate.

You will be joining the College at an exciting time, as we develop our new Institute of Technology.?These Institutes of Technology are collaborations between Further Education providers, Universities and employers. They specialise in delivering higher technical education, with the aim of addressing local and regional skills shortages in STEM subjects.
