Bristol Hospital (Stapleton, M32):
Our Grade II listed hospital building is set in extensive grounds, just off the M32 and less than three miles from the centre of Bristol, with free on-site parking. We offer 77 beds over seven wards, providing a wide range of services, including Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorders, acute care, rehab and recovery. Our collaborative environment fosters opportunities to gain experience in various services.
Priory Hospital Bristol offers calming and recovery focused inpatient treatment for service users as well as day care group and outpatient services. Personalised treatment programmes are delivered by our multidisciplinary team, specialising in the management and treatment of acute and complex mental health problems.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Bristol Priory Hospital for a Therapy Lead. As the Therapy Lead you will lead a team of therapists and be responsible for the Private inpatient and outpatient service at Bristol.
Reporting to the Therapy Services Manager (TSM), the Therapy Lead will be responsible for managing the inpatient therapy provision, day care and all resources within it.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading and supporting a diverse range of therapy staff including psychology and therapy, along with any other specialisms that fall within the team’s therapy needs (for example OTs or other AHPs as wider services develop).
Experience:
1. Clear and motivational leadership skills to support a diverse therapy team.
2. Line Management/Leadership experience is desirable OR a willingness to build this.
3. Business Development and Innovation are key to maximise the opportunities available to the service.
