Temporary SEND Administrator – Education

Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 3-4 months
City: Bournemouth, Dorset
Strong minute taking skills required for this role.
The post holder will provide professional and efficient administrative support to facilitate the day-to-day running of the Service and will make up part of the wider administration team undertaking statutory duties to support the SEND Case Work team.
Operating the SEND data management system, keeping information up to date and progressing Education, Health and Care reviews is a key part of this role. Applicants must be able to work under pressure and be able to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines and timescales. Attention to detail is key along with the ability to work quickly, accurately, and methodically through high volumes of work.
Qualifications:
1. 2 A Levels, NVQ 2/3 in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
Skills & Experience:
1. Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
2. Appreciate diversity in both customers and colleagues and be considerate of their specific needs.
3. Good knowledge of administrative practices, processes and procedures within an office environment.
4. Experience of working in Special Education or an Educational environment.
5. Office administration experience.
6. Strong attention to detail.
7. Minute taking experience and skills.
8. Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite, Adobe Pro).
