Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 (dependent on experience)

About the Role
Our client is looking to strengthen their Operations team with a Programme Manager based in the Southern Water region. Reporting directly to the Pre-Construction Manager, this role involves overseeing, leading, and supporting a programme of work across construction and delivery leads, site managers, and the design and commissioning phases. You will ensure contracts are executed efficiently, within the required specifications, timelines, and budget, while prioritising health and safety and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee the performance of projects from design through construction and commissioning phases.
* Manage health and safety across projects and report to monthly project management meetings.
* Support and guide construction and delivery leads on all aspects of contracts.
* Maintain and develop client relationships, resolving challenges and identifying new business opportunities.
* Drive exceptional safety and delivery quality standards across the workforce.
* Ensure adequate staffing, training, and reviews for technical, safety, and environmental requirements.
* Oversee commercial aspects, including accurate forecasting and timely management.
* Promote a positive and solution-oriented approach in all interactions.
What Our Client is Looking For
Essential:
* Proven project management experience with varying project sizes and complexity.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction-related discipline.
* APMP or equivalent.
* Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and end-users.
* Results-driven, with a track record of motivating multi-disciplinary teams to meet objectives.
* Extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure project delivery.
Desirable:
* Experience in water/wastewater infrastructure.
* Proficiency in Primavera or PowerProject software.
* Chartered or near-chartered in a construction discipline.
* Working knowledge of construction health and safety.
