The Opportunity:
To support our client's exciting growth and development, we’re looking for a multi-skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our technical team on-site here at Spadeadam. As part of our client's world-leading team, you'll support projects directly involved in energy transition and the UK's journey to net zero.
Responsibilities:
* Providing technical assistance to project teams in the construction and development of new test rigs and planning the electrical and instrumentation installation.
* Ensuring the correct standard of electrical and instrument equipment is used and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
* Level 3 City and Guilds.
* IEE 18th edition compliant.
* Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391).
* Preferable experience in maintenance, fault diagnosis, and rectification work inclusive of both single and three phase.
* Experience of undertaking inspection work on equipment installed in hazardous areas.
* Demonstrable knowledge of relevant health & safety regulations.
In addition, we would expect candidates who can demonstrate:
* Excellent organisational skills with the initiative to plan and prioritise own workload.
* Being customer-focused, proactive, and results-driven.
* Possessing a full UK Driving Licence and obtaining UK Security Clearance.
