Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis to join our culinary team. As a Commis, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations by assisting in food preparation and production. Duties
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
* Support the kitchen team in food production tasks, ensuring timely delivery of meals.
* Organise and clean workstations, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods.
* Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements.
* Follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in food quality.
Skills
* Strong foundation in hospitality and culinary principles.
* Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership potential.
* Experience or familiarity with kitchen operations and restaurant settings is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £8.67-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
