Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an Assay Records Administrator to join the Sample Management Department. The overall purpose of the role is to ensure that all reporting and certificate generation is produced to reflect the highest standards of quality, whilst maintaining the maximum turnaround times expected of AHK and external clients.

Responsibilities
Reporting of Results - Certificate Generation
* Use Assay Admin Dashboard to filter jobs based on priority
* Check client instructions before proceeding
* Generate certificate through LabCreate for Whiteside jobs and email directly to the client, checking thoroughly for inaccuracies prior to sending, hard copies issued as required
* Generate certificate through LabCreate for Desk jobs and email directly to the desk manager, checking thoroughly for inaccuracies prior to sending, hard copies issued as required
* Generate certificate through LabCreate for Umpire and Final and Binding jobs to each party involved, each certificate to include the relevant client name. Check thoroughly for inaccuracies prior to sending, hard copies issued as required
* Upload all copies to LabCreate
* Tick out Assay Admin within LabTrac to confirm job has been reported
Other duties
* Process Return Balance requests accurately and in a timely manner as per instruction and agreement with line manager
* Process client queries accurately and in a timely manner as instructed by your line manager
* Thorough understanding and effective use of the bespoke Lab Create system.
* Ensure all data / samples are processed as specified in the standards of procedure and training records.
* Report any accident or incident
* Ensure safety in the workplace and in this respect ensuring compliance with all instructions relating to the use and storage of materials/equipment necessary for the performance of his/her tasks.
* Follow health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
To be successful at Alfred H Knight, you will need to display the following:
Required Knowledge and Work Experience
Essential
* Computer literate
* Microsoft Word
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and electronically
* Good attention to detail
* Be able to work from own initiative
* Team player
Desirable
* Similar administration experience
* GCSE ‘C’ or above in Science, Maths and English
* Previous use of email to communicate with both internal and external clients
