We are currently on the look out for a sales support specialist to support our customers throughout the UK and Europe. Previous experience of managing customer orders within a manufacturing setting would be advantageous but we are more interested in you and your previous successes.
£25,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Sales Support Specialist manages customer jobs from order approval to finished product, including all front office and production aspects. This position is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
5. Assists in estimating for customers
6. Creates and approves job tickets for the shop floor
7. Assists plant manager with any emergency problems
8. Communicates with customers on updates for projected timelines for projects
9. Manages trouble-shooting of emergency orders for customers
10. Participates in meetings with production staff and front office staff
11. Enters Customer Orders in ERP system (Microsoft PrintVis)
12. Raises Customer Prepayment Invoices from the order in ERP system
13. Utilises Salesforce to manage communications with sales team, customers and management
14. Follows up on all customer transactions in a timely manner
15. Insures CAR’s are created by quality department and communicated to customer
16. Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
17. Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
18. Works closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items.
19. Provides timely feedback to internal team members regarding service failures or customer concerns.
20. Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
21. Sends out sample products to customers
22. Packages orders for delivery
23. Assists other plant employees with tasks when staffing is an issue
24. Performs other duties as assigned
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
25. Flexible packaging knowledge is preferred but not a must
26. Knowledge of film substrates used in the industry is preferred but not a must
27. Excellent customer service via phone, email and in person
28. Pre-press and pre-press workflow knowledge a plus
29. Knowledge of estimates and customer expectation a plus
30. Excellent time management skills
31. Basic IT structure knowledge
32. Knowledge of a web to print order system a plus
33. Must be deadline driven and have a sense of urgency
34. Must be adaptable and flexible.
35. Must have a great customer focus and be action oriented
36. Should have experience in Word, Excel and Google Suites
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
37. Proven experience within a customer service-related field
38. Experience working in a manufacturing environment
39. Computer data-entry experience
