Specialist Group is now seeking to appoint a professional Marketing Manager to join the team. Working collaboratively with all other parts of the business, you will hold a key role within the company, ensuring the co-ordination and implementation of world class Marketing services, processes and initiatives within The Specialist Group.
Job Purpose
The Marketing Manager will play a key role with overall responsibility for the development of the brand, identity, presence and profile of the Specialist Group in the marketplace as the business aims to continue its growth and development in multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Overall responsibility for the Marketing Strategy for the Specialist Group for B2B and B2C.
2. Overall responsibility for the brand, identity, presence and profile of the Specialist Group.
3. Ensure consistent implementation of brand activity across all platforms.
4. Conduct market research to identify trends, gaps in the marketplace for new business opportunities.
5. Customer relationship management and assisting in the development of the new CRM system.
6. Development of a clear marketing plan, aligned with delivery of sales targets.
7. Supporting the sales teams by developing key relationships in the industry to assist with pipeline development.
8. Promoting the Specialist Group to contractors, consultants, clients and architects.
9. Overseeing the maintenance and development of the Company website.
10. Analyse and deliver regular updates on all marketing activity at management and board level meetings.
11. Public and media relations – Writing and placing press releases.
12. Responsibility for all media relations – PR, Awards submissions, company events etc.
13. Developing, writing and editing of the Specialist Group publications.
14. Development of the ‘Specialist View’ podcast series.
15. Customer satisfaction surveys for mid and end of projects.
16. Creating case studies – Videos. Write ups for use on all platforms.
17. Work closely with agencies and other vendor partners to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
18. To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.

Qualification/Attainments
1. Degree in relevant discipline (Essential)
2. A Professional marketing qualification (Desirable)
Relevant Experience
1. Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role
