Description The Service & Team: About the Service/Team We are the civil wedding delivery arm of Cornwall Council Registration Service. 'My Cornwall Wedding' is our brand name. We operate within the national wedding industry and are one of the leading providers in the country. We pride ourselves on providing legal and bespoke, customer-focused ceremonies. Civil marriages and civil partnerships are the legal alternative to religious weddings. Since 1995, civil marriages are permitted at premises approved by the Local Authority. There are over 170 'approved premises' in Cornwall, and we currently conduct over 3000 weddings a year. The Role: Key Tasks and Responsibilities Working with the Business Operations Manager, to contribute to the marketing and promotion strategy and plan. Plan and execute the strategy to meet targets and deadlines within budget. Create and deliver graphical content for impactful brand marketing campaigns across all channels. This includes blogs, videos and newsletters. Optimise the marketing budget to maximise ROI across campaigns and channels. Drive the development of the Registration Service webpages. Ensure SEO best practices are followed, optimising user journeys, and maximising lead generation potential. Plan, execute, and measure performance across digital channels to improve conversion rates. Track and report on digital analytics. Provide data insights that highlight trends, identify opportunities and recommend strategies for improvement. Work with other staff, towards shared objectives. Providing brand consistency across all marketing activities. Be comfortable working to brand guidelines. Ensuring design creatives are agreed before publication. This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies. Working Pattern: This is a hybrid role. The role holder will attend the office or other work location approx. twice a week. This is for meetings, collaboration activities, filming, or attending other location-based activities. The role also requires occasional weekend or out of hours working. What you’ll need to succeed: We are looking for someone that has gained solid experience in a digital marketing role. Preferably within the direct-to-customer sector. The successful applicant will also prove: At least a level 4 qualification in Professional and Digital Marketing (or equal). A strong commercial drive. Data-driven with an ability to utilise data insights to make actionable decisions. Ability to use own initiative. Ability to be a strong team player and work collaboratively. Exceptional communication skills. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
