This is where to achieve more for your career. In this customer facing role, you must be experienced working with new and existing print technologies, across multiple vendors and disciplines. You will understand print management software(s) and be able to scope, document and deliver complex customer requirements in this area; an understanding of the relationship between software, hardware and the end user is essential. You will have an appetite to explore and integrate our service with new and innovative offerings from hardware and software vendors in line with business growth plans. You will be proficient in producing quality documentation and communications to enable the successful deployment of the technology alongside our dedicated delivery team. As Solutions Professional - Managed Print you'll be responsible for: Attending customer meetings with Workspace Sales Specialists to advocate the Softcat MPS offering – this may include demonstrating Print Management software solutions and setting up proof-of-concept environments Leading scoping engagements with customers to ensure the accurate capture of technical requirements for deployment Documenting complex environments to enable and support the solution both pre and post sales cycle Collaborating with the Softcat Workspace Sales Specialists & Project Managers on new and existing project activities to aid successful delivery. We'd love you to have Experience in scoping and documenting existing customer print environments and recommending appropriate technologies to drive improvement & efficiencies. Knowledge of additional print related technologies is desirable, including, but not limited to: Printing protocols Print drivers and different print languages Windows, Mac, Linux/UNIX and mobile (iOS, Android) printing options and configuration Hardware requirements, limitations and technological differences Experience with the technical aspects of Print Management software such as Papercut MF & Papercut Hive Work in a way that works for you We recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
