Based: Tamworth
Salary and Package: Up to GBP 65,000 plus a car allowance.
HSE Recruitment is working on an exciting opportunity with a leading manufacturing and distribution company in Tamworth to find a new Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join a successful business that has a desire to improve safety and be seen as a leader in safety and sustainability excellence.
Key Focus Areas of This Role:
1. Health and Safety: Lead the overall Health and Safety strategy and implementation at the site.
2. Integrated Management System: Improve the Integrated Management System: ISO 14001, 45001, and 9001.
3. Environmental Initiatives: Run environmental and sustainability initiatives and manage environmental reporting.
This is a standalone role reporting to the Operations Director and part of the senior management team. There is a strong culture of accountability concerning safety.
Person Specification:
1. NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum qualification; ideally a Diploma level qualification.
2. Strong manufacturing or warehousing experience.
3. Strong IMS and ISO systems experience across 9001, 14001, and 45001.
4. Experience with environmental reporting and running environmental or sustainability initiatives.
5. Personality: Hungry, passionate, and ready to push the business forward. Someone who will take ownership of the function, provide direction, and always strive to improve.
