The Role:
We’re seeking a Partnership Development Manager to pioneer the creation of a network of service delivery and retail partners across the UK. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new function within our business, focusing on recruiting and onboarding small, local appliance repairers and retail partners who share our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
You’ll build close, collaborative relationships to deliver outstanding service and drive commercial success, ensuring our protection products thrive at the point of sale and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, approach, and recruit small, local appliance repairers to join our service delivery network, ensuring they meet our quality and reliability standards.
* Forge partnerships with small retail businesses to promote our appliance protection products at the point of sale, driving awareness and sales.
* Negotiate commercial agreements that balance profitability with long-term partner satisfaction and customer value.
* Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with partners, acting as their primary point of contact and advocate within our business.
* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, marketing, and customer service) to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for partners.
* Monitor partner performance, gathering feedback to continuously improve service quality and partnership outcomes.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, or local networking opportunities to build our partner ecosystem.
* Track and report on partnership growth, providing insights to inform future strategy.
About You:
* Proven experience in business development, partnership management, or a similar role, ideally within a service-focused or consumer goods industry.
* Strong negotiation and commercial acumen, with the ability to craft win-win agreements.
* Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a talent for engaging small businesses and fostering trust.
* Self-motivated and proactive, comfortable working independently to establish a new function from scratch.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
* Knowledge of the domestic appliance, repair, or retail sectors is a plus, but not essential.
* Willingness to travel across the UK as needed to meet partners and build the network.
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
