Key Responsibilities Document Management: Maintain and update all project-specific registers, ensuring accuracy and consistency for all documentation, including drawings, manuals, comments, and class appraisals. Incoming & Outgoing Documents: Record all incoming and outgoing project documents via transmittal, ensuring proper tracking and version control. Shared Data Environment: Oversee the management of the shared data environment, ensuring secure access and easy retrieval of all relevant project information. Preparation & Filing: Prepare project drawings and packs in hard copy, along with administrative duties including filing and document organization. Collaboration & Communication: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication with project teams and clients. Continuous Improvement: Review current document control processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. Performance Management: Take ownership of your performance, ensuring structured task completion and meeting deadlines. Health & Safety: Adhere to health and safety policies and follow safe working practices. Professionalism: Maintain a professional approach in all interactions with personnel, clients, and management. Teamwork & Autonomy: Work independently or as part of a team to meet project objectives. Quality Assurance: Demonstrate adherence to the company’s Quality Management System. Essential Qualifications & Skills: Education: A-Level or equivalent standard. Experience: Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within large-scale engineering projects or heavy manufacturing. Proficiency in managing shared data environments. Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. IT Proficiency: High proficiency in MS Office and relevant IT tools. Organizational Skills: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a busy environment. Drive & Motivation: Self-motivated and results-driven.
