Our client is an established residential children's provider specializing in support for young people aged 8-18 years with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH), cognitive and learning needs, and communication difficulties. The Role:
1. Leading and supervising a team of support workers to provide day-to-day care for the children.
2. Ensuring the creation of a safe and nurturing environment that promotes emotional well-being.
3. Developing and overseeing individualized care plans based on each child's unique needs.
4. Coordinating recreational activities and educational programs to promote the children's development.
5. Collaborating with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure holistic care.
6. Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
7. Being a positive role model and fostering a supportive team culture.
Requirements:
1. Must have NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
2. Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a residential childcare setting is preferred.
3. Strong communication and organizational skills.
4. A commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
