Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Officer for a Local Authority Client based in West London. In this role, you will be responsible for managing tenancies, enforcing tenancy agreements, maintaining a strong presence on your patch, and ensuring residents receive high-quality, proactive housing services. Key Duties: Manage tenancies, investigate breaches, and take appropriate action, including legal proceedings if necessary. Conduct estate inspections, and work closely with residents to address their concerns. Liaise with internal teams, external agencies, and support services to assist vulnerable residents. Ensure estates are well-maintained, safe, and meet regulatory and tenancy standards. Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Minimum 2 years' experience managing council or social housing tenancies. Experience handling breaches of tenancy, including ASB, subletting, and rent arrears. Proven ability to be visible and proactive on patch, conducting estate inspections and resident visits. Knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy law, and local authority policies. Ability to manage a complex caseload and use housing management systems effectively.
