Notting Hill Genesis, one of London’s largest housing associations, is seeking a strategic leader with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for resident safety. If you’re a seasoned Senior Building Safety Manager who thrives on ensuring compliance, mentoring teams, and driving systemic change, this is your opportunity to shape the future of building safety across Notting Hill Genesis' high-rise homes.
What you’ll do
As a Senior Building Safety Manager, you will lead NHG’s compliance with the Building Safety Act and Fire Safety Act, ensuring our homes meet the highest regulatory standards. You’ll manage a team of Building Safety Managers, act as the accountable person for critical safety processes, and champion a culture where resident safety is non-negotiable.
How you’ll do it
1. Manage a hybrid team of Building Safety Managers, providing mentorship and quality control to ensure consistent delivery of safety cases, audits, and risk assessments.
2. Oversee Building Assessment Certificate applications, Mandatory Occurrence Reporting (MOR), and maintenance of the "Golden Thread" of safety data across high-rise buildings.
3. Partner with the Policy and Process Manager to identify gaps in safety cases, address risks, and align NHG’s strategies with evolving legislation like PAS and NHBC standards.
4. Liaise with regulators, contractors, and internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless integration of safety processes.
5. Act as NHG’s technical authority, translating complex safety requirements into clear actions for teams and transparent communication for residents.
