We are excited to recruit for this role at Golding and appoint a Contracts & Quality Manager to join our Repairs and Maintenance team, where you'll be able to play a key role in shaping our future.
What you'll be doing
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-centric reactive maintenance services by effectively managing contractor performance, compliance, and quality repairs standards. You'll be responsible for driving value for money, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, and promoting continuous improvement in service delivery. By fostering collaboration, you'll deliver robust contract management and maintain a focus on safety.
More about you. What can you bring?
We’re looking for someone who holds a site supervision certification and has proven experience of contract management. You'll have experience in minor works job costing and managing sub-contractors through formalised contracts (JCT/ NEC). You'll be able to demonstrate good repairs and maintenance technical knowledge as well as comprehensive working knowledge of Schedules of Rates and an appreciation of all trades. This role requires collaboration with multiple teams within Golding Homes, so you'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to establish effective and productive relationships, showing empathy and understanding to deliver great customer service. Ideally, you'll hold a ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Accreditation, but this is not essential.
When and where you'll be doing it
You will enjoy a 37-hour working week and earn an annual salary of up to £50,000.
