Hourly umbrella rate £30 - £39.38 Inside IR35
1. University degree & 5-7 years of full-time work experience working with Non Metallics suppliers and processes.
2. Accountable for Supplier Excellence Recognition (SER), Quality Systems audits (CQMS), Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP)
3. Work on Non-Conformance Management (NCM) from ETQ system and work with supplier for Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for closure.
4. APQP, Engineering specifications, GD&T
5. Production Part Approval Process (PPAP): Knowledge of Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP) elements,
submissions, and objectives; ability to determine whether a supplier can manufacture products that meet the quality requirements and standards of their customers consistently.
JOB ROLE PURPOSE
Assesses the supplier quality and ensures that all the products are free from defects and are following manufacturing specifications and legal standards.
* JOB DUTIESLead Supplier and Part Development for Resource Industries (RI) Non-Metallic suppliers and parts.
* Good working knowledge of APQP and TFC
* Review PPAP documents for the parts for the assigned supplier from a manufacturing standpoint. Identify any gaps in the documents submitted and then do a review with the suppliers to update or correct it and resubmit.
* Understand the manufacturing process of non-metallic components. Example: injection molding, rubber forming/molding, foam molding, roto molding, etc.
* Work as needed on Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) STOP capability, Built in Quality (BIQ) based on any Non-Conformance Management (NCM) against the assigned supplier.
* Follow up on Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for closure.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1. Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles: Previous experience working as a SDE is a significant benefit for this role.
2. Needs to have very good communication skills to be able to work with diverse set of stakeholders.
3. Very good problem-solving abilities, analytical ability, process improvement mindset.
4. Strong working level knowledge of quality practices, methods, tools & techniques.
5. Knowledge and understanding of APQP, Engineering specifications, GD&T
