We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Officer to join our Prevention & Early Intervention Compliance Team, providing dedicated administrative and process support to the Quality Assurance process within the Adults Health and Commissioning Directorate.
In this fast-paced and dynamic role, you will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and maintaining records for daily Quality Assurance meetings, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will play a key part in supporting best practice, improving service quality, and ensuring compliance across adult social care.
This role is perfect for someone with strong organisational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different teams.

What will you be doing?
As a Business Officer, you will:
* Provide administrative support to the Quality Assurance process, including coordinating daily meetings, preparing documentation, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
* Support the Chair and meeting members by maintaining clear records, noting actions and decisions, and tracking completion of follow-up tasks.
* Communicate with practitioners, team managers, and senior leaders to schedule cases for QA Meetings, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
* Maintain accurate records and data management systems, ensuring full compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations.
* Act as a key point of contact, providing guidance and information to internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes, supporting service efficiency and quality.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
* Experience in business support or administration, ideally within a local authority or public sector setting.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using databases such as Mosaic.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
* A strong understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and compliance within public sector services, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle sensitive information.
* Great communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with different teams and partners.
* A positive, proactive approach to problem-solving, able to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
You will also be:
* Empathetic and caring with the ability to remain emotionally resilient.
* Flexible and able to embrace change and support new ways of working.
* Proactive in learning and personal development.
* Able to travel to and work within Cambridgeshire County Council offices.
