Business Analyst (BA)

We are seeking a Business Analyst to work across several key initiatives for the Charity. You will be a key member of our technology team that look after End User Computing and Automation, collaborating with other technology squads and the wider business to ensure proactive and effective analysis is undertaken to aid the successful delivery of the initiatives. The role will require regular communication and coordination with our award-winning hospitals, and you'll need to translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language. You should have experience in business analysis across the full change process, along with knowledge of relevant business and data analysis tools and techniques. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will interact with a variety of stakeholders across the business and experts within your squad. Building credibility and fostering strong relationships will be key. Experience with Jira is a plus, as well as familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and experience in helping research and shape device strategy, policy, and standards.
As our Business Analyst, you will:
* Select analysis methods and techniques based on the specific need.
* Design, develop and document business and system processes.
* Lead workshops with stakeholders and SMEs, making sure business needs are understood and challenged if required .
* Ensure requirements are clearly and accurately documented to an appropriate level of detail and work closely with the delivery teams to ensure understanding .
* Undertake gap analysis (between different technologies or between requirements and solution options) and translate into options to drive business decisions.
* Work with delivery managers to plan and manage analysis work.
* Work with testing team throughout to ensure requirements, acceptance criteria and processes for delivery are understood.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* An understanding of IT infrastructure including networking and data storage solutions
* Experience in File Server management and decommissioning, with an understanding of data migration strategies and archiving and permissions
* SharePoint knowledge and experience
