Senior Employment Services Officers will support the People Services Teams in the provision of accurate workforce data with a focus on the administration of payroll delivery and employee record keeping. Main duties of the job To act as the first point of contact for Employment Services and in doing so, deal helpfully, effectively and efficiently with queries, providing relevant information to customers in a timely manner. To provide additional support to People Services, where required, in dealing with complex queries, and escalating complex issues to the Head of Workforce where appropriate, ensuring a consistent approach throughout the service. To develop working relationships with colleagues and customers that are productive in terms of supporting and delivering your work and which contribute to the delivery of a professional customer focused service. Support managers to resolve any local pay issues identified, escalating any complex pay issues to the payroll provider. To act as first point of contact for any 'minor complaints' received within your team, escalating where appropriate to the Head of Workforce. To ensure proper filing of Employment Services documentation (both paper and electronic) in established filing systems, following agreed internal processes.
