Role Overview
Delighted to be supporting an established business based in Liverpool City Centre, position is part of a high-performing and talented Business Intelligence (BI) team. The primary responsibility of the role is to analyse, develop, and support Power BI reports and dashboards sourced from various data platforms. The position utilises the latest Microsoft Power BI and Fabric technologies and encourages innovation.
Senior BI Developer
Liverpool City Centre- 1 day per week
* Analyse, develop, and support Power BI and Fabric dashboards, ensuring accuracy and excellent data visualisation from various data sources.
* Manage, prioritise, and track BI requests raised by the business, ensuring timely delivery.
* Provide support and troubleshooting for BI requests across multiple data sources, resolving any issues.
* Manage both internal and external data resources.
* Collaborate with key subject matter experts (SMEs).
* Ensure the accuracy and quality of BI reporting and presentation.
* Advocate for Data and BI, helping to drive the business towards a more data-driven approach.
* Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion, fostering an inclusive culture.
* Perform any other responsibilities deemed appropriate for the role, as trained.

* Auditors and data suppliers
The ideal Senior BI Developer will possess the following qualifications and expertise:
* Excellent data visualisation and storytelling skills, with the ability to create custom reports in Power BI
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Strong data mapping and modeling experience
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences
* Strong analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset
* Proficiency in DAX and M Query
* Ability to take initiative and innovate
