Responsibilities:
* Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing all day-to-day warehouse operations.
* Ensure the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
* Supervise and support warehouse staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
* Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock management.
* Implement and enforce health and safety policies, conducting regular assessments.
* Plan and schedule deliveries and collections to meet client deadlines.
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse at all times.
* Assist in the preparation of reports and administrative tasks.
* Handle client queries and ensure excellent customer service is delivered.
* Identify areas for operational improvements and recommend solutions.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse role, preferably within the removals industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
* A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
