Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management:
o Lead, train, and develop your team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
o Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by coaching, training, and supporting team members.
o Oversee staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and efficient store operations.
2. Operational Management:
o Manage all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory management, and financial performance.
o Ensure high standards of product quality, cleanliness, and store presentation are maintained at all times.
o Monitor inventory levels, and place orders for supplies as needed.
o Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
3. Sales & Financial Performance:
o Drive sales and profitability through effective cost management, upselling strategies, and promotional initiatives.
o Collaborate with corporate teams on marketing initiatives, product launches, and store events.
4. Compliance & Safety:
o Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
o Maintain a thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Skills & Experience
1. Proven experience as a Store Manager in a café or hospitality environment.
2. Strong barista skills with a solid understanding of coffee preparation techniques and espresso equipment.
3. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
6. Keen attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
7. Flexible and adaptable, with availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
