Person specification Key Responsibilities and Team Purpose The OFTO Build team was established in 2023 to help deliver Ofgem's work in coordinating network development for offshore wind and leading our work on the Offshore Transmission Network Review (OTNR). It focuses on the development of a competitive model whereby a competitively appointed transmission owner is responsible for the delivery of co-ordinated offshore assets as identified in the ESO's Holistic Network Design and Follow Up Exercise. Developing an OFTO Build model will be critical to help deliver increased coordination in offshore transmission in support of the government's ambition to deliver 50GW of offshore wind by 2030. This team manager role will cover OFTO build, working closely with our delivery team and with internal experts and related teams. They will also need to work closely together to manage Ofgem's relationships with external delivery partners (NG ESO and DESNZ).
