Job Description
Murray Recruitment have an excellent position for a Project Administrator for a permanent position based in Glasgow City Centre.
The Project Administrator will work closely with the Project Manager to carry out project administration for the Division.
Responsibilities
1. Co-ordinating and planning engineers' workload.
2. Liaising with suppliers and ensuring first-class customer service at all times.
3. Liaising between customers and operations management to ensure smooth operational delivery meeting contract SLAs.
4. Processing new projects on the project management system and collating documentation.
5. Creating work packs for engineers i.e., drawings, equipment list, etc.
6. Raising equipment orders, as required to support the Project Manager.
7. Organising accommodation and overnight allowance.
8. Obtaining information from contractors to set up new accounts.
9. Updating monthly financial reports.
10. Generating and submitting applications for payment/invoices.
11. Processing part orders from wholesalers.
12. Attending and contributing to project meetings.
13. Providing cover for Planner.
14. Ad hoc tasks to support the projects division.
Experience / Skills
1. Experience working within a Project/Commercial Administration or Assistant position.
2. Billing or invoicing experience.
3. Excellent IT skills ideally with experience of using project management software.
4. Excellent communication and influencing skills.
5. Team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
6. Strong attention to detail and organised.
Offering
1. Starting salary £26k - £28k DOE.
2. Hours Monday - Friday 35 hours between 9 am - 5 pm.
3. Holidays are 20 days annual, increasing to 25 days after one year’s service and 8 days’ public and 1 day birthday holidays.
