Join us and become part of a team that’s passionate about delivering unparalleled customer service and creating meaningful customer relationships.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for candidates with the following:
* Customer Centric Attitude: Customer service is central to this role. You will be speaking to the customer on the phone before and at point of delivery.
* Physically Fit: This is a physical role therefore; candidates need to be physically fit and capable of lifting and moving awkward, substantial, and heavy loads throughout the day.
* IT Literate: Candidates must be IT literate and able to use a smartphone for completing the deliveries and collections.
* Communication Skills: People management skills are also beneficial due to the challenging nature of delivery to construction sites in sometimes limited time slots.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
You will be delivering to construction sites across England, repeatedly lifting and moving weighty, bulky items, safely, and carefully over a range of surfaces throughout your working day.
You will also be delivering to sites within London and other major cities, dealing with city traffic and a delivery schedule that aligns with the demanding time constraints that our customers expect from us.
Within this role you will also:
* Be the face of THX.
* Interact with customers on-site and ensure they’re satisfied.
* Take pride in being responsible for ensuring customers receive the hire equipment they have ordered on time and in a positive, friendly manner.
* Provide a positive customer experience.
* Ensure we meet our target of 98% on-time delivery.
* Resolve problems promptly, communicating with customers and colleagues as needed.
* Load and unload THX’s hire equipment using appropriate lifting equipment and manual handling techniques.
* Follow safe working processes while driving and loading/unloading.
You may also:
* Communicate with colleagues in other departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Operate THX’s delivery IT system, updating the system data and taking pictures of equipment.
* Raise issues and opportunities to improve THX operations.
* Identify sales opportunities while travelling and report these back to the sales team.
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE:
* Experience in a customer-facing role.
* A valid, clean UK driving license for manual vehicles.
* Familiarity with IT and navigation systems.
* Able to work Mondays and Tuesdays and other days as required.
* Willing to work overtime, including ensuring all rounds are completed.
* Right to work in the UK.

NO ORDINARY WORKPLACE
I started working for THX in August 2021. I really enjoy my job, don’t get me wrong it’s hard work but for sure the pros outweigh any negatives. My colleagues are great, and everyone is supportive! There are many benefits with working for THX including getting weekends off which is valuable as I can see my beloved football team.
