As a UX Engineer at Pharmlogic, you'll play a key role in driving innovation and shaping the user experience for our cutting-edge systems. As a UX Engineer, your impact will extend beyond the design team, influencing the entire organisation through strategic design decisions, cross-functional collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to innovation.
Your day to day tasks might include:
* Designing and delivering solutions for complex user experience challenges, finding innovative approaches to undefined problems.
* Mentoring and supporting team members, including junior engineers, by fostering growth through design reviews, collaborative feedback, and shared learning sessions.
* Collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders across teams to align design solutions with user needs and business goals.
* Advancing UX practices, contributing to design standards, guidelines, and frameworks to ensure consistency and excellence across products.
* Driving knowledge-sharing initiatives within the design and engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
* Promoting user-centered design by conducting research, testing, and iterating on designs to ensure a seamless and impactful user experience.
* Contributing to team culture by supporting recruitment efforts and advocating for inclusive, creative, and effective design methodologies.
What's ideal is:
* Proven Impact: Demonstrated success in a UX or Frontend Engineering role, showcasing significant contributions to product and business outcomes.
* Design Expertise: Strong proficiency in user-centered design principles, user experience design, interaction design, and product strategy. You have a proven ability to translate user needs into elegant, impactful design solutions.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks like React (or a willingness to learn), with strong experience in JavaScript. Familiarity with TypeScript, design systems, and responsive web design is a bonus.
* Product Development Savvy: A deep understanding of the product development lifecycle, balancing user needs with technical constraints to deliver exceptional results.

Package Details
£39,000 - £42,000 salary. Your actual salary will be decided based on experience and suitability for the role.
You'll work from our Offices in Surrey for at least 3-5 days a week.
You'll have an annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) budget.
