The Role Are you highly experienced with project lifecycle information systems and confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels? Do you have a good awareness and experience of implementing technology solutions that support international standards for Information Management/ Building Information Modelling (BIM). If so, you could be a great fit for our Project Information Systems Manager role. As a Project Information Systems Manager, you will lead the development and daily performance of the project lifecycle information ecosystem to support the efficient and effective delivery of UU’s Capital Programme. You will develop and support the delivery of the project lifecycle information ecosystem roadmap and manage all aspects of vendor technical relationships. Key accountabilities Scalable and Secure Ecosystem : Ensure the project lifecycle information ecosystem is scalable, adaptable, and secure for all capital projects. System Requirements and Improvements : Ensure all system requirements are understood and met through future improvements. System Usage Monitoring : Ensure system usage is understood and monitored to deliver commercial value. System Housekeeping : Maintain consistent user experience, up-to-date user management, and license management. Vendor Service Management : Oversee vendor service management and resolve issues as they arise. Vendor Roadmap Assessment : Assess vendor roadmaps to ensure current products are fit for purpose now and in the future. Industry Surveillance : Monitor available project information systems to implement new systems for better commercial or functional outcomes. Collaboration: Maintain a close relationship with the Senior CAD Manager to address integration issues and improvements. PLIM Mailbox Management : Ensure the Project Lifecycle Information Management (PLIM) mailbox meets its SLAs. Line Management : Manage a small team of Project Information Systems Administrators. Skills & experience To be successful with your application, you’ll need to show that you meet the following essential criteria: Expertise in project lifecycle information systems, including Common Data Environments and applications that support Business Information Modelling (BIM) processes. Experience with international standards for Information Management and BIM. Good understanding of the project lifecycle within construction/capital projects or similar. Ability to build and manage relationships at all levels, especially vendor technical relationships. Results focused to ensure internal SLAs are met. Excellent analytical abilities to present technical information clearly to the business. Ability to lead a small team.
