We are seeking an experienced Head of Student Engagement, to lead on the development and implementation of our personal development programme, working closely with staff, learners and stakeholders. The postholder will manage student voice activities and initiatives to enable change, as well as cultivate an inclusive environment where every voice matters. The postholder will play a proactive role in the delivery of Brooklands Technical College’s strategic aims and core organisational values to Care, Inspire, Collaborate and Champion. About the role: Your role will include, but not be limited to: Provide leadership and management, take a lead in promoting the College’s ethos and values and contribute to the strategic priorities that drive initiatives that enhance student experience, promote positive behaviours, and ensure alignment with the College's values. Create Personal Development scheme of work proforma, disseminate and oversee staff training necessary for cross college delivery. Lead and manage the delivery of the student voice framework to inform strategic decision making and drive continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Work collaboratively with Student Support Services, curriculum and other stakeholders to develop and embed a planned approach for student experience and engagement. Drive improvements in attendance rates, student engagement and overall student satisfaction and retention. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to provide a high-quality wrap around student experience including enrichment and extracurricular activities. To fulfil the role of Head of Student Engagement you will have: PGCE/Certificate in Education or equivalent Experience in student experience, student engagement, or student partnership work within further education Knowledge and understanding of College processes and procedures for the management of students, quality and resources A sound understanding of the Government agenda for education development and Ofsted Experience of reviewing, developing and implementing systems and processes, with the ability to critically assess and evaluate performance in order to continuously improve.
