We have an exciting opportunity for an Customer Technical Account Manager to join our team at Agrial Fresh Produce at our site in Wigan. This role will assume responsibility for the maintenance of customer technical relationships and to develop and consolidate a professional dialogue with our customers. The successful candidate will manage joint technical priorities, focussing on key metrics, complaint reductions, microbiological improvements, and general site improvements. The role reports directly into the Technical Manager and will have strong and effective working relationships and high levels of contact, communication and engagement with Agrial commercial teams. Pay: £Competitive plus annual bonus and benefits Working hours: Mon-Fri - 8.30am to 5.00pm Main Responsibilities
* Manager the customer technical relationship with the Agrial customer base.
* Hold regular face to face customer meetings to align priorities and promote the business in a positive way.
* Maintain close and effective relationships with site technical teams
* Attend conferences / meetings and feedback to sites on key actions
* Keep up to date with customer codes of practice and ensure site compliance by sharing requirements and managing process change.
* Maintain effective working relationships and high levels of contact, communication and engagement with Agrial commercial teams.
* Become a subject matter expert with thorough understanding of site capabilities and processes to maintain credibility with customers, This role is being handled by the internal talent acquisition team, and so recruitment agency support is not required.

* HACCP (CIEH) Certificate (intermediate or Advanced).
* Relevant qualification in internal auditing.
* Desirably, a degree in Food Science or Technology.
* Experience of building effective working relationships with food service and/or retail customers.
* Ideally ~5 years' experience within a chilled food environment in QA/Technical roles.
* Previous experience in a FMCG high care chilled environment, and with managing people.
* Computer and data literate with the ability to interrogate data from technical systems.
* Good time management and organisational skills with a tenacious approach to data accuracy and reporting.
* A driver of change and constantly seeks opportunities for improvement.
* Exceptional influencing and relationship building skills, with strong communication skills.
