About the Job:
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join their growing team in Coventry. Our Coventry office is a significantly high-performing team and is now looking for a Recruitment Consultant to spearhead the development of the Industrial team desk.
The opportunity would be perfect for someone who is ambitious, driven, and looking to develop/start their recruitment career. We are open to applications from candidates with varying experience levels. The successful candidate will have previous experience in customer service, retail, or sales if no exposure to recruitment.
The Job:
You will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, focusing on both client acquisition and building relationships with organizations in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. You will understand unique hiring requirements and supply exceptionally talented candidates that meet client specifications.
Daily responsibilities will include:
1. Searching job boards for candidates who meet client requirements
2. Arranging and attending client meetings to discuss their staffing solutions
3. Posting job adverts to attract and engage with candidates actively looking for work
4. Sourcing and screening candidates for a variety of vacancies
5. Understanding candidate career aspirations and building meaningful relationships
6. Carrying out competency-based interviews
7. Bringing on new clients, nurturing, and maintaining existing relationships
Requirements:
Due to the nature of the role, a full driver's license is required. Candidates should be comfortable speaking with candidates/clients both face-to-face and over the phone. Other requirements include:
1. Excellent organizational and time management skills
2. Ability to work toward KPIs and financial targets
3. Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team
4. A positive mentality and can-do attitude
Working for Pertemps Coventry:
Location - City Centre Coventry
Base Salary upwards of £27K
Uncapped commission scheme
32 days annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing by one each year
Hours - Monday to Friday 8am-5.30pm
