Maintenance Engineer
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading medical device manufacturer based in Somercotes. The successful candidate will be required to work on a 3 shift pattern (AM/PM/Nights).
Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Engineer
* Day to day maintenance of the facility and the “Planned Preventative Maintenance” system.
* Ensure at all times the plant is maintained to ensure safe and efficient and timely continued operation.
* Where required assist with the installation and implementation of capital projects.
* Adhere to relevant procedures and assist where required with the control of contractors involved with maintenance operations and capital projects whilst working at the facility.
* Work as a team player within the engineering department and help with meeting all agreed objectives.
* To be a responsible pro-active member of the Engineering team.
* Ensure that suitable and sufficient consultation takes place.
* Follow the requirements of permits and safe systems of work.
* Ensure that site housekeeping in sections within your control are maintained to the required standard.
Qualifications & Experience – Maintenance Engineer
* Previous mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Some electrical and pneumatics maintenance knowledge would also be beneficial.
* Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
* Knowledge of HSE processes and standards.
