Chroma are delighted to be partnering with a leading company in the oil and gas industry for an experienced Electrical, Controls, and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis at their offices near Chester.
The EC&I Engineer will play a key role in designing and implementing electrical, controls, and instrumentation systems for analyser houses, sample conditioning systems, and control systems.
This is a hands-on role that involves collaboration with clients, suppliers, and in-house departments, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards and delivered on time.

EC&I Engineer Requirements:
* HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
* 5+ years of EC&I design experience
* Proficiency with AutoCAD and Amtech ProDesign software
* Knowledge of ATEX standards and hazardous area design
* Experience with electrical testing and inspection in accordance with BS7671
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads effectively
* Familiarity with PLC equipment specification and control system design
