Billing Assistant
Job Purpose
Assist the Billing Team Leader & Commercial Management in prioritizing tasks, ensuring contractual commitments, and maximizing revenue and profit margins. Review and input chargeable works accurately and handle work order queries.
Responsibilities
* Review and recover costs for chargeable works.
* Bill clients via CAFM system and Application for Payment process.
* Ensure detailed summaries for client applications to reduce queries.
* Work with contract teams to charge for works as per contract.
* Resolve queries within specified time limits.
* Understand contractual information to maximize billing.
* Assist in internal and external reporting.
* Monitor and minimize Work In Progress (WIP).
* Meet daily targets of 70-80 work orders.
* Perform ad-hoc duties as requested.
Essential
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Background in Administration
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
* Data entry experience with high transaction volumes.
* Work independently and as part of a team.
* Highly motivated, with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Remain calm under pressure and communicate effectively.
* Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
Desirable
* Facilities Management experience.
* Maximo/CAFM experience.
* Advanced Excel skills.
