Our international client is looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join the Team for a period of 12 months, based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
As ER Specialist, you will lead on employee relations cases, providing a proactive and pragmatic approach to stakeholders on employee relations issues and broader change management advice while working closely with the HR Business Partners. This is a varied and interesting role and will include the following:
1. Providing expertise and support to business leaders and HR, including advice on a wide variety of people issues including performance, complex cases, hearings, and appeals.
2. Taking a proactive approach on disciplinary, grievance, and appeal cases, managing the overall process.
3. Leading on investigations, making recommendations of a high standard and creating reports.
4. Handling redundancy and restructure cases & projects working alongside the wider HR team.
5. Delivering high-quality support on TUPE, flexible working requests, and sickness as well as contractual queries ensuring a consistent approach to employee relations.
6. Coaching and advising leaders and the wider HR team.
7. Maintaining and tracking case management records and reporting on the associated data.
8. Delivering ER training to managers and HR.
9. Ongoing development of best practice Employee Relations.

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced & proactive HR/ER professional with deep expertise in Employee Relations, able to demonstrate sound judgment and balanced advice with a commercial/business-focused approach.
You will also have a focus on continuous improvement and possess first-class verbal & written communication skills, alongside experience of evolving and driving change projects.
Experience within a professional setting, i.e., professional services, financial services, or business services, is highly advantageous.
Salary is up to £57,000 per annum (Fixed Term Contract, 12 months).
Hybrid working, based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
