Job Description
We are seeking a driven, dynamic and experienced professional with a passion for the hospitality industry.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities and increase sales for Thornbury Castle Hotel
· Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
· Support Hotel service and strategy by regularly updating action plans and financial objectives
· Attend industry events to promote the hotel and generate leads
· Monitor market trends and competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly
· Work closely with the Hotel Manager and Management Company to ensure all strategies and campaigns meet the needs of the business
· Manage and motivate the Sales and Events team, supporting them in achieving sales targets, handling calls and enquiries and producing event proposals
· Develop and build relationships with new and existing customers to enable future bookings, through sales calls, FAM trips, industry events etc
· Identify marketing opportunities and coordinate with the marketing team to create promotional material

Qualifications
· A minimum of 3 years of experience working in hotel events/sales
· A proven track record of achieving sales targets
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent negotiation skills
· Ability to be a strong team member and leader
· On-site work with the availability to travel and be flexible with working hours according to business needs
