We are on the lookout for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager who thrives on the hunt for new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a relentless drive to identify and close new deals, and exceptional communication skills. These roles will initially be from our offices in Hereford but individuals need to be comfortable with travel across the UK for events and client visits when not over Teams. Key Responsibilities: Hunt for New Business - Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sectors allpay operates in through market research, cold calling, networking, and direct outreach. Sales Strategy Execution - Develop and implement stretching sales strategies to achieve the companies sales goals and revenue targets. Client Acquisition - Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients, focusing on onboarding new clients and expanding market share. Sales Presentations and Proposals - Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to prospective clients’ needs. Deal Negotiation and Closing - Negotiate contracts and close deals with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. Market Intelligence - Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition. Collaboration - Work closely with other teams in allpay to ensure alignment of sales strategies with marketing initiatives. Reporting - Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team, showcasing achievements and areas for growth. Industry Engagement - Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to promote allpay. About You The ideal candidate will have/be: Proven experience in a sales or Business Development role. Proven track record of hunting for and closing new business opportunities. Be able to build an in-depth understanding of payment services and explain technical solutions in a non-technical way. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Have a professional approach to sales techniques which align to allpay's core values. Strong ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients. Self-motivated with a relentless drive for results and a strategic mindset. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Ability to travel as needed.
