Location: Tees Valley Wildlife Trust HQ & Nature Reserves across the Tees Valley.
We are looking for an experienced nature conservation leader to protect and restore our natural assets across the Tees Valley for generations to come.
As Conservation Manager, you will be focused on developing and delivering Tees Valley Wildlife Trust's nature recovery and management for our nature reserves. You will work to improve public access to nature by leading a team of Wildlife Trust officers, wardens, and volunteers to deliver practical conservation, including directly leading on some site-based activities.
As an inspirational leader and strategic thinker, you’ll enable us to deliver ambitious plans for nature across the Tees Valley, delivering habitat improvement works, species recovery, and habitat adaptation works to ensure the Tees Valley can deliver bigger, better, and more joined-up landscape recovery objectives.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our nature reserves management across a portfolio of 15 sites and a number of partnership assets.
