Business Development Manager (EMEA)

Ideal has supported over 150 healthcare organisations with their digital transformation projects providing wide ranging services including bespoke strategic consulting, system implementation, large scale training programmes and optimisation support.
As the digital healthcare market continues to grow, we are looking to grow our business in the Middle East. An exciting opportunity has become available to join Ideal Health’s sales team as a Business Development Manager, specifically with a focus on the Middle East.
Role - Business Development Manager (Middle East)
Reports to – Client Engagement Director (Director of Sales)
Key internal relationships – Client Engagement Manager (Sales Support), Practice Directors, Delivery team, Project Resourcing team
Development Opportunities – grow into strategic sales
Key responsibilities:
* Execute regional sales plan to increase customer base and grow revenue across the Middle East.
* Identify new opportunities across region.
* Contact potential clients to identify areas Ideal can support their digital health projects.
* Build relationships within industry and network with key contacts.
* Build and maintain vendor and partner relationships within region.
* Attend regional and national industry events.
* Lead development of proposals and bids with support of practice leads, subject matter experts and bid team.
* Manage sales cycle from lead generation through to opportunity closure.
* Grow existing client accounts through effective and ongoing account management
* Sales pipeline management, regularly reporting to Director of Sales.
Skills and experience:
* A professional client engagement approach with a track record of developing new business
* Excellent networking skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients at a senior level (CIO/CEO/Directors of IT/COO)
* Experience in selling professional service/consulting solutions
* Experience of selling within the Middle East
* Familiarity with the digital health sector
* Demonstrable experience of building long term client relationships
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at a senior level.
* Demonstrable experience working with different departments to achieve joint outcomes.
* Strong presentation skills – there will be an expectation to formally present to clients and internally.
* The drive, energy, and commitment to succeed and develop your career.
* Proficient in Arabic, including speaking, reading, and writing is highly desirable
Compensation
Salary: £60,000-£80,000 basic depending on experience + attractive commission plan (OTE 2 x Basic).
Working arrangements
Primarily based from our office in Surrey, but with occasional travel to the Middle East
