Job summary The Theatres and Anaesthetic Directorate are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Senior ODP / Deputy Sister (Band 6) to support the Gynaecology team within Main Theatres at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We currently have a vacancy for a committed and enthusiastic individual to manage an established team in delivering high quality care that is rapidly adapting to meet the needs of a diverse local population. Successful applicants should have previous experience in leading Service Gynaecology within Theatres, good communication skills and enjoy working in a swiftly changing and challenging environment. You will be required to work as part of a motivated team as well as being able to work on own initiative. Main Theatres operates a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week service and staff are expected to work nights and weekends. To participate as an integral member of the theatre team giving leadership and guidance to less experienced staff. Participate in the Theatre Co-ordinator rota when required.
