Job Role Supporting the Class Teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum. Providing 1:1 and small group support to children in Reception. Assisting with classroom preparation, behaviour management, and learning activities. Helping children with their personal and social development. Encouraging learning through play and engagement in outdoor activities. Collaborating with the wider Primary School team to enhance pupil progress. Required Skills and Experience Previous experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant, TA, or similar role in a UK school. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare or education. Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and National Curriculum. Experience supporting children in Reception, Key Stage 1 (KS1), or Key Stage 2 (KS2). Understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection. A passion for helping young learners achieve their full potential. An appreciation for learning through play and outdoor learning.
